Summary
As a Marketing Team Leader, you will primarily be responsible for driving the efforts of your marketing team in growing the RV, Companion Auto and Tow Products within the Specialty Transportation department.
Responsibilities
* Produce new business, including achievement of submission, quote, and new business objectives * Handle submissions and communications with brokers and internal underwriters and managers * Proactively prospect new goals, leading specific production objectives. * Maintain responsibility for renewal retention targets and the development of relationships with large key accounts and agents/brokers * Mentoring and developing your team, including assisting with difficult sales situations and broker communications * Handle broker/agency review and analysis, including establishing and communicating expectations, measuring actual results/activities versus expectations, and communicate findings on a regular basis, then take corrective action when necessary * Create and evaluate new marketing ideas to increase sales and education others about National Interstate and our products * Perform other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university with 3-5 years of marketing or sales experience strongly preferred * P&C licensure required, or must be willing to obtain it within the first 90 days of employment * Exceptional verbal and written communication talent, especially in group/public speaking situations * Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical orientation * Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet skills are highly desired
