Marketing Intern

Vanliner Insurance Company is currently seeking a Marketing Intern for our Fenton, MO office.The position will be full-time lasting for approximately 8-12 weeks in the summer.

* Work with account representatives to identify individual account servicing strategies. * Obtain information on prospective accounts and load information into database, either via automatic download or manual entry. * Compile and analyze information related to competitor activities. * Assist account representatives and broker marketing representatives with daily activities as needed. * Evaluate lost business opportunities and aid in prospecting new business. * Handle special projects such as updating the new business pipeline report, develop market analysis for new business segment, entering information into new agency system and developing promotional materials. * Additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program from a four-year college or university, pursuing a degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Advertising with a minimum 3.0 GPA. * Anticipated graduation date ranging from Fall/Winter 2016- Spring 2017. * Working knowledge of PC's including databases, word processing and spreadsheets. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. * Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports and defend conclusions. * Must be able to fulfill a ten week requirement beginning in May.
