Mobile Software Architect

As a hands-on software architect for client and mobile platform, you will work with product managers, application developers, back-end architects, and security architects to design and build high performance, secure mobile clients. Client architect defines the right and extensible architecture design across multiple product offerings and device platforms. We need an individual who has an excellent understanding of mobile application platforms on IOS and Android across diverse devices. In this role, strong communication skills (verbal and written), multitasking, being a self-starter and the ability to work and mentor junior members of the team is a must. A successful candidate is articulate and can follow up on projects. **Responsibilities:** - Provide technical architecture and vision for mobile application platforms - Collaborate with architects and Product Managers to design major component or layer of an end to end architecture - Produce architecture requirement document that compliments PRD with focus of keeping the code up to date and in-line with future roadmap - Produce appropriate project artifacts that may include high level architecture designs and detail level design - Mentor other members of the team on mobile application best practices - Present to executives by connecting market and product requirements with architecture - Work with back end architects to build a consistent product and platform stack

**Education/Experience Requirements:** - 10+ years of experience in software development - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering - Expertise in mobile devices and interfacing with hardware - Hands on experience with Android, IOS, mobile SDK and client side scripting (HTML5, Java script) - Up to date in latest tools, technologies and technical trends - Hands on with design, coding and test - Experience in agile methodologies and continuous delivery - Experience in client level technology and coding - Experience in web development - Strong interpersonal communication skills - Ability to lead initiatives and people toward common goals - Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
