Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will serve as the "point person" for a range of financial matters relating to NantMobile (an operating company of NantWorks). Leadership and oversight of all accounting related functions for NantMobile, including financial reporting, billing, payables, general ledger close, and payroll. Business oriented financial manager with both strong technical accounting skills, application of strong internal controls around financial reporting, and public company external reporting experience. The position will also develop and manage our internal financial reporting structure on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Collaborative partner to the COO tasked to work with a high functioning team capable of supporting multiple business segments, product portfolios, functional leaders, and geographic office locations with timely and accurate financial reporting. **Essential Functions:** - Responsible for the activities of NantMobile finances and for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. - Liaises with corporate finance and oversees the activities of the department relating to NantMobile, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax compliance. - Also oversees corporate finance activities, on behalf of NantMobile, of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, funding service management, which includes weekly funding reports and customer service; and check statistic management. - Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value. - Develop, manage and maintain a project costing system for tracking individual projects in engineering or external facing client campaigns - Respond to COO as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate his financial needs. - Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports. - Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner. - Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
