Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist will take the lead on bookkeeping, accounting and management tasks associated with the preparation and maintenance of Accounts Payable. The role will include the management of Namely vendor’s, tracking vendor contracts and renewals dates, obtaining appropriate approvals, and completing regularly scheduled check and wire payment runs.

* Key financial contact with company vendors and internal purchasers * Code and enter invoices in accounting system * Monitor accounts payable to ensure payments are accurate and timely * Generate accounts payable checks and wires weekly * Coordinate and document appropriate approvals on all new vendors and invoices prior to payment * Track all vendor contracts, commitments and renewal dates; maintain vendor files and reconcile vendor accounts with vendor statements * Coordinate and review vendors, contracts and renewals with Namely department heads to ensure accuracy * Work with accounting team to calculate applicable accruals and management accrual schedules * Close account payable monthly, assist with accrual journal entries and month-end reconciliations

* B.S. in Finance, Accounting or equivalent * 5+ years of experience with vendor management * Strong attention to detail. Self-starter * NetSuite experience preferred * Proficient in Excel * Motivated and dedicated to building a great community
