E-Commerce Web Designer

Munchkin is looking for a temporary Ecommerce Web Designer you will work in collaboration with the Munchkin team to create elegant yet simple digital experiences that support the line products. This position is responsible for creating and coding visual design for user interfaces and interface elements for desktop, tablet and mobile across multiple products. The ideal candidate must have an outstanding eye for detail and be able to deliver in a fast-moving, innovative, environment. A firm understanding of design fundamentals, composition as well as a sensibility towards a modern and clean aesthetic is required. This is a temporary role with an expected duration of 4 – 6 months.

• Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and brand consistent projects for use in digital experiences
• Develop and execute intuitive, usable, and engaging visual screens and UI’s
• Ensure digital customer touch points become and remain consistent with user experience and brand standards
• Participate and collaborate in conceptual development and design ideation in collaboration with the Brand Design and Marketing teams to help define a creative strategy
• Responsible for designing/producing and managing projects with high accuracy
• Performs other duties as needed

• 5+ years professional UX design experience
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and Google Ad Builder
• Proficiency in Social Media Platforms and some understanding of Javascript
• Expert understanding of web formats, file types and digital media best practices
• Highly creative and a great eye for design, composition and a sensibility towards a clean and simple aesthetic
• Ability to work with independently
