Senior Software Engineer for Container Cluster Framework

We are looking for an exceptional engineer to join our award-winning engineering team in San Francisco. We are building a container scheduler and execution engine that will run on multiple private and public clouds. We need a highly scalable engine that can be distributed across the world and enable the most challenging connectivity for our customers. This will be the backbone from which our developers will be creating highly scalable domain services that can run anywhere.

* Build and maintain a fault-tolerant, scalable container cluster framework * Work with various engineering teams to correctly engineer products into manageable, functional components, which can be packaged, orchestrated and run on any cloud solution even on-premise * Participate in architectural discussions/decisions, influence the roadmap and take ownership and responsibility of what you develop

* Ideal candidate will have experience building and operationalizing business critical system with amazing availability * Experience with containers (LXC/Jails/Docker/RunC/Rkt) and schedulers (Mesos/K8s/Rancher/Docker/etc.) * Worked on cloud platforms that target developers and/or operations * Understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals * Hands on experience with cluster container frameworks is a plus * You want to create extraordinary products that people love to use * Love working in a fast-paced Agile software development environment * Computer Science degree or relevant experience
