Production Support Analyst

Establishes production runs, ensuring that appropriate JCL(job control language), run documentation, and data files are available. Assists in job set-up. Performs problem identification, escalation and resolution. Management or Supervision: No Direct Reports.

* Establish production runs, ensuring that appropriate job control language & its documentation. Perform rerun and restart production jobs abend during dayshift. Define new calendars to production job scheduling; define, test and manage new reports to production Ammo/Webammo; Set up & Schedule new production jobs to run cross flatforms; Compile, reject, and/or promote batch and online programs to production. * Assist peer, Application Programmers and Systems Programmers in problem determination and resolution of job or system exceptions. * Review Jobs abend list daily. Collaborate with other ITG support groups to have job scheduling or procedure JCL modification. * Participate as a member of the Bank disaster recovery program. Help ITG peers in running TOS script to validate new patches or system softwares implemented or upgraded to production. * General Job Scope: Intermediate professional level role. Provides production support on multiple platforms. Works on multiple projects as a team member and may lead projects of moderate complexity. May coach more junior technical staff.

Additional Information: Work Experience Typically has 3 to 5 years of IT work experience in production and operations support. Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Or equivalent work experience.
