Systems Integration Engineer

The System Integration Engineer will work directly with customers, experienced engineers and technicians to deliver solutions that optimize results. - Support factory checkout, support on-site commissioning, and conduct acceptance testing for servohydraulic test systems for civil/seismic and ground vehicle applications, with emphasis on those involving hybrid simulation and virtual testing. - Train customers on the operation and use of hybrid servohydraulic test systems. - Work collaboratively with checkout and field service personnel to resolve system performance issues in checkout and in the field. - Provide 3rd tier technical support for installed base of test equipment and software. - Provide consulting services to customers in the areas of hybrid simulation, virtual testing, integration of models and physical tests, test optimization, and best laboratory practices. - Act as a technical resource to Applications Engineering in pursuit of sales with custom content. - Conduct pre-sale product demonstrations, webinars, and on-site meetings with customers in support of unique customer applications. - Support Product Management by proposing system approaches, system modules, and products for development that can enhance MTS's position in the market. - Conduct system-level testing on new software, controllers and mechanical products.

**Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. - Experience commissioning complex technical equipment, or training or supporting customers on its operation and use. - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of customers around the world. - Ability engineering knowledge and scientific methods to diagnose complex problems and derive solutions independently. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Expected travel 35%. **Additional Qualifications:** - Master's degree preferred. - Experience in one or more of the following: servo-hydraulic test systems and associated control methodologies, hybrid simulation, mechatronics, finite element analysis, MATLAB, Simulink, Adams Multibody Dynamics Software. - Ability to speak and read Mandarin Chinese beneficial.
