Intern - PC Support Tech

As an Intern in the PC maintenance group, you will help provide technical support for personal computer workstations, peripheral equipment and network services. - Provide support to troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with hardware, software and network services for personal computers. - Configure, test, install and maintain personal computer equipment including software, hardware and network services. - Get an opportunity to participate, both as a leader and as a team member. You will learn to maintain a positive working environment within the group and with other functional support groups. - Keep related groups and management informed of progress and support requirements. . - Perform assignments in compliance with established procedures which indicate how tasks are to be performed and documented. - Provide training for end users. - Stay informed with changing technology in computers, software and networks.

**Basic Qualifications:** - Must be currently enrolled as a student at an accredited (2 or 4 year) college or university during the internship. - Able to work 3-4 hours per day during the school year and 8 hours per day during summer vacation. - Able to lift 35lbs. **Additional Qualifications:** - Prior technical experience is preferred - Ability to communicate in an articulate and professional manner - Involvement in related technologically oriented extracurricular activities.
