Creative Technology Coordinator

Mt. Cuba Center is a non-profit botanical garden and historical preserve located on Barley Mill Road outside of Hockessin, Delaware, near Wilmington, Delaware, in the gently rolling hills of the Delaware Piedmont.

- Supports the production of technology services deliverables across all departments to help fulfill our mission. - Assists in all digital media creation and production workflows for distance learning and print production. - Creates still photography, video, and other digital assets to support a broad range of initiatives. - Assists in the creation of printed products and advertising material - Sets up media capture activities, transports production equipment, sets lights, operates digital cameras, and processes captured material. - Assists in developing metadata standards for digital assets. - Helps maintain various servers, databases, and systems including but not limited to our video archive, photo archive, and learning management system. - Provides hardware, software and general technical support as needed.

- Associates degree in a visual communications program or information technology preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field. - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with staff and public. - Consistently high demonstration of Mt. Cuba Center’s core values. - Knowledge of multimedia production standards and techniques is necessary. - Training on web design and learning management systems is preferred. Experience with Mac OSX and Windows-based platforms is required. - Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically expert Photoshop and InDesign skills. - Intermediate understanding of networking including Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server environments. - Demonstrated self-motivation, communication skills, and attention to detail are necessary. - Ability to work outdoors periodically in a variety of weather conditions is required. - Ability and willingness to work weekends, Holidays and special events as needed. - Strong computer network troubleshooting skills are required. - Valid driver’s license.
