Underwriting Support

Assist branch underwriting personnel in meeting established production and/or service goals in the support of policy production. Assembles collates, and proofreads insurance documents such as new, renewals, endorsements .

* Assist branch underwriting personnel in meeting established production and/or service goals in the support of policy production. * Assembles collates, and proofreads insurance documents such as new, renewals, endorsements . * Receives, sorts and distributes mail to the appropriate personnel following established guidelines * Pulls policy requests and maintains policy files which house contracts and company copies of policy. * Maintains quote suspense and policy purge procedures. * Orders various reports that support the rating and underwriting of new and renewal business. Reports include D&B, MVR, loss-control and loss history reports. May access various applications that support the reporting. * Completes miscellaneous documents via various applications for bureau filings, cancellations, non-renewals, reinstatements and conditional renewals. * Prepares original set up for new and renewals processing

* High School or Equivalency diploma required * Customer Service experience * Prior insurance experience helpful * Accurate typing skills * Proficiency in spelling and grammar * Good organizational skills * Excellent verbal & written communication skills * Knowledge of computer skills including word and excel
