Responsibilities

*  Oversee all aspects of the Image Intensification line of business, planning and achieving long-range strategic goals, ensuring adherence to program related plans, programs and budgets. 
* Evaluate and control operating performance, taking appropriate corrective actions as needed. 
* Serve as primary contact with customers in establishing and developing their requirements, schedule and financial requirement 
* Provide supervision and direction to Program Managers within Image Intensification 
* Provide leadership in proposal efforts, ensuring that project costs, schedules and programs meet or exceed requirements necessary to win new business. 
* Lead source selections and negotiation teams for subcontracts and monitor resultant performance, costs and schedules. 
* Develop risk management, contingency plans and allocation of available resources 
* Ensure that the product is delivered on schedule and ensuring that all program deliverables, milestones and required tasks are met. 
* Prepare program reviews and provide briefings to management, customers and others of project status 
* Ensure that technical and financial success of the program.

Ideal Candidate

BS/MS Engineering discipline or Business, MBA desired
10+ years of related DOD program management experience in product development, engineering management, and/or production
Prior defense industry experience in the development and program management of thermal, fused, or image intensification electro-optics
Direct experience in one or more of: soldier based image intensification, thermal or fused electro-optical systems, infrared sightings & targeting devices, interoperable and multi-functional EO/IR systems or image tube component manufacturing..
Demonstrated ability in working in matrix management assignments with customers, suppliers, internal management and support organizations
Strong leadership, computer, and communication skills
Active security experience or ability to obtain one
Southern NH/Northern MA residency (will be given preference)
