Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the Image Intensification line of business, planning and achieving long-range strategic goals, ensuring adherence to program related plans, programs and budgets.
  • Evaluate and control operating performance, taking appropriate corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as primary contact with customers in establishing and developing their requirements, schedule and financial requirement
  • Provide supervision and direction to Program Managers within Image Intensification
  • Provide leadership in proposal efforts, ensuring that project costs, schedules and programs meet or exceed requirements necessary to win new business.
  • Lead source selections and negotiation teams for subcontracts and monitor resultant performance, costs and schedules.
  • Develop risk management, contingency plans and allocation of available resources
  • Ensure that the product is delivered on schedule and ensuring that all program deliverables, milestones and required tasks are met.
  • Prepare program reviews and provide briefings to management, customers and others of project status
  • Ensure that technical and financial success of the program.
Ideal Candidate
  • BS/MS Engineering discipline or Business, MBA desired
  • 10+ years of related DOD program management experience in product development, engineering management, and/or production
  • Prior defense industry experience in the development and program management of thermal, fused, or image intensification electro-optics
  • Direct experience in one or more of: soldier based image intensification, thermal or fused electro-optical systems, infrared sightings & targeting devices, interoperable and multi-functional EO/IR systems or image tube component manufacturing..
  • Demonstrated ability in working in matrix management assignments with customers, suppliers, internal management and support organizations
  • Strong leadership, computer, and communication skills
  • Active security experience or ability to obtain one
  • Southern NH/Northern MA residency (will be given preference)
