Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of the Image Intensification line of business, planning and achieving long-range strategic goals, ensuring adherence to program related plans, programs and budgets. * Evaluate and control operating performance, taking appropriate corrective actions as needed. * Serve as primary contact with customers in establishing and developing their requirements, schedule and financial requirement * Provide supervision and direction to Program Managers within Image Intensification * Provide leadership in proposal efforts, ensuring that project costs, schedules and programs meet or exceed requirements necessary to win new business. * Lead source selections and negotiation teams for subcontracts and monitor resultant performance, costs and schedules. * Develop risk management, contingency plans and allocation of available resources * Ensure that the product is delivered on schedule and ensuring that all program deliverables, milestones and required tasks are met. * Prepare program reviews and provide briefings to management, customers and others of project status * Ensure that technical and financial success of the program.
Ideal Candidate
* BS/MS Engineering discipline or Business, MBA desired * 10+ years of related DOD program management experience in product development, engineering management, and/or production * Prior defense industry experience in the development and program management of thermal, fused, or image intensification electro-optics * Direct experience in one or more of: soldier based image intensification, thermal or fused electro-optical systems, infrared sightings & targeting devices, interoperable and multi-functional EO/IR systems or image tube component manufacturing.. * Demonstrated ability in working in matrix management assignments with customers, suppliers, internal management and support organizations * Strong leadership, computer, and communication skills * Active security experience or ability to obtain one * Southern NH/Northern MA residency (will be given preference)
