Security Guard

MPW offers a variety of industrial cleaning, water purification, facility management and container management services to thousands of clients throughout North America.

The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain a safe and secure environment for MPW employees and customers.

* Be on time with equipment and guardhouse set up and ready by 0630. * Maintain traffic flow at gate: * Guests and visitors Identified and directed to the right location for their needs * Outbound MPW equipment logged out * Ensure use of employee key cards when entering and exiting the campus * Guests and visitors exiting safely and promptly * Maintain gate activity log for deliveries in and out * Patrol campus, watching for safety and/or criminal activities * Respond to all medical or criminal emergencies. * End of watch secure guardhouse and equipment. * Performs other duties as directed.

* High School Diploma or equivalent. * Prefer a good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures and polices. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently is a must. * Candidate should posess basic computer skills. * Current and valid driver’s license. * Professional oral and written interpersonal communication. * Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. * Individually motivated.
