Industrial Engineer

Moog is a world leader in designing primary and secondary flight control actuation systems (FCAS) for military aircraft. We design and integrate FCAS systems for cutting edge aircraft like the F-35 Lightning II and the X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System. We are expanding our staff as we expand our technology and market share.

As an Industrial Engineer, you will work closely and coordinating with managers to develop and maintain flow plans, gathering and providing analytical data, and make recommendations to improve the overall operational efficiency.

* Performing statistical analysis on historical production capabilities and output, and make data based decisions on optimum production scheduling * Developing methods for assembly and fabrication operations. * Developing, designing and acquiring tooling for fabrication and assembly operations. * Developing and maintaining the process instructions and line aids for subassembly and final assembly. * Developing and maintaining tooling logs, equipment lists, calibration schedules * Providing a more efficient way of manufacturing parts * Make recommendations for equipment, processes, methods, materials and design improvements * Improving machine utilization and capability * Providing data for manufacturing cost estimates * Leading and tracking Kaizen events in the manufacturing areas * Maintaining a close working relationship and coordinating with the Manufacturing Department * Driving results from a cross functional team consisting of the Facilities, Quality, Design Engineering, Product Engineering and Finance departments

* Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering * 3 years minimum experience in manufacturing * Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management * Ability to gather and analyze and provide operational data * Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident * This position does not allow for cost relocation
