Business Analyst

- Run financial and patient detail, summary, SQLs and statistical reports to assist in revenue analysis. - Communicate with and obtain information from various departments. - Analyze operational data, recognizing variances and trends in utilization. - Produce and publish scheduled and ad hoc reports as required by management. - Communicate with various departments, gathering and understanding the information necessary to successfully complete data requests. - Compile, analyze and/or verify financial/statistical data and reports. - Track and report discrepancies on statistical variances. - Maintain proprietary databases including data integrity, timeliness of data input and accuracy of data. - Provide guidance and direction to staff engaged in finance, accounting and/or budgeting. - Participate in fiscal year-end budget process. - Conduct impact analysis of operational changes on business processes, comparing Montefiore tp the FPSC Benchmark. - Identify opportunities for improving business process through information systems.

* Excellent knowledge of spreadsheet and database software packages is required. * Healthcare experience and Bachelor's Degree are preferred.
