Summary
We are looking for a patient, customer service driven, and detail oriented, enthusiastic, people's person to run the front desk in one of our branch offices. Staffing Assistants play a vital role in the success of the branch by maintaining office flow, assisting the recruiters in various administrative functions, sourcing candidates, administering on-boarding requirements and other duties as assigned. They are the first point of contact for job candidates and clients. The Staffing Assistant is the connection that ensures consistency in the office. They are heavily relied upon by Staffing Specialists (SS), Branch Operations Supervisors (BOS), Regional Directors as well as various departments in the corporate office.
Responsibilities
* initiates contact with potentially qualified candidates for specific job openings based upon job descriptions as identified by Staffing Specialists. This position requires the use of Internet recruiting sources to identify and contact candidates. * Provides information about MSS, such as its safety programs and job openings, to candidates and Clients as needed. * Refers qualified candidates to Clients as directed by the Staffing Specialists and follows up with both to ensure successful placement. * Ensures that all employment records, such as the Employee Start Package (ESP) are completed, correctly processed, and the necessary data is scanned and entered in eEmpACT for employment and compliance purposes. * Maintains data integrity for all associate entries in eEmpACT. * Coordinates communications and follow up with Applicants on jobs and job interviews. * May participate in company sponsored job fairs. * Performs or orders reference checks, drug tests, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements on applicants and job candidates. * Follows protocol and direction for all incidences that may be reported to the Branch office in the course of business including but not limited to; injuries, harassment and discrimination claims. * May be required to visit Client locations, as needed, to facilitate Associate check-in and distribute time cards and/or paychecks. * Other duties as assigned * Adheres to and enforces all policies and procedures set forth by Monroe Staffing and the client
Ideal Candidate
* HIgh School Diploma * Must possess strong command of Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Must be well organized and have the ability to stay on task. * Attention to detail, a high level of organization and the ability to manage a high volume workload are necessary skill sets required for the success of this position * Must be able to type with accuracy and speed.? * Must pass local post offer pre-employment criminal background check and drug test. * Exercises confidentiality and discretion.
