Associate Director, Drug Product Development and Manufacturing

Momenta is a biotechnology company with a product pipeline of both complex mixture generic and novel drugs.

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic candidate (Assoc. Director) for Momenta’s Drug Product Process Development.

he Assoc. Director of Drug Product Development will work closely with cross-functional teams and leaders concerning projects, operational decisions, and scheduling requirements and will conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives including equivalent or above management. This position will represent Momenta drug product process development and manufacturing to both internal and external organizations, including CMO/CROs and Momenta partners.

* M.S. or PhD in a scientific discipline (pharmaceutical science, chemical engineering, or life science) and a minimum of 8 years experience in a development environment. * Demonstrated technical project leadership skills * Experience in drug product process development and characterization; lyophilization experience is a plus * Experience in cGMP, aseptic manufacturing of parenteral drug products. * Experience in technology transfer and management of contract manufacturers is a plus. * Strong understanding of drug delivery options * Excellent communication skills including the ability to write technical reports and CMC sections for regulatory submissions * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, environment.
