Assistant Design Consultant

The Assistant Design Consultant provides interior design consultation, tile and stone selection and support for our wholesale customer as well as their clients. Provides outstanding customer service and assists clients in the selection of tile & stone products primarily focusing on color, size, and coordination.

* Provides tile and stone selection advice and support at least 40% of their time * Addresses and resolves tile & installation questions * Actively contributes to branch sales by creating projects and following them through to completion * Provides key liaison assistance with the A&D community and Daltile’s Architectural Representatives * Develops relationships by actively seeking design-related networking opportunities outside the showroom * Manages product samples and displays based on vast knowledge of all product lines and extreme detail-orientation; manages samples supply and distribution * Performs ordering and receiving activities for samples * Maintains accurate and detailed records to keep in compliance with company policies and procedures * Executes daily office tasks and office administration * Trains and provides assistance to CSR’s * Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management * Schedule flexibility for networking/educational events and Saturday staffing * Performs other related duties as required
