Summary
Mobiquity is looking for an Experience Designer to join our creative team and provide day-to-day visual design support to one of our largest accounts. The Experience Designer will work in a fast paced environment and collaborate with the client, Program Managers, Creative Directors, UX Architects and front-end developers to create compelling mobile application experiences. As a Designer, you should be a passionate and curious individual with a compulsive dedication to the look and feel, design language, interactions and choreography of the experiences you create. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, motivated and experienced in digital design and delivery processes with a keen eye, acute attention to detail. You have a willingness to contribute to all phases of a project life-cycle from design strategy to production and implementation. You will have a strong technical expertise and a seasoned ability to work with development teams, clients and vendors to ensure the highest quality output. You should be able to work under pressure, turning around projects with tight timelines without error, while having a sense of humor and ability to have fun while working hard. As a key member of this account team, the production expertise and precision that you bring will continually raise the bar in quality, efficiency and workflow for our client.
Responsibilities
* Participate in product ideation and conceptual development of experiences, under the guidance of a Creative Director * Create visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and icons * Design motion graphics and animation effects * Edit and manage design source files relating to wireframes, visual design comps, specification documentation, illustrations and iconography * Apply brand guidelines, accessibility best practices, photography, typography and other elements to create integrated design assets for web and mobile devices * Perform QA procedures on all deliverables * Quickly develop iterations of existing screens with revised specifications, copy and/or imagery * Assist in maintaining a library of client brand assets and usage guidelines to make it easy for others to self-serve * Produce high-quality web-ready files for mobile application development, including design specifications, digital redlines, storyboards, scenarios, and design prototypes. * Continually refine production workflow to raise the bar, increase efficiency and ensure precision and timely delivery of assets and mechanicals. * Successfully communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale, both verbally and visually. * Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, project management, business and marketing strategists, and hardware and software developers. * Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years of user interface design experience. * Strong and flexible skills in visual design and interaction design. * You have a strong proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Sketch, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro * Experience designing motion graphics with tools such as Hype, Keynote, Flash or Adobe After Effects. * You have an extremely high attention to detail and ability to collaborate across a cross-functional team * You have the ability to drive the production and review cycle * You are able to communicate in a clear, consistent, and transparent manner. * You take ownership and responsibility for your work. * You have strong organizational and time management skills. * Basic knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. * Extremely high attention to detail and ability to collaborate across a cross-functional team * You are able to communicate in a clear, consistent, and transparent manner. * You take ownership and responsibility for your work. * You are comfortable and confident in situations of ambiguity. You propose solutions instead of problems. * You are a professional. You are flexible and willing to succeed in a rapidly changing environment * You are passionate about representing the human perspective in design and you have skills in bringing this passion to life for the team. * Bachelor's degree in graphics design, interaction design, fine arts, or a related design discipline.
