Registered Nurse, Operating Room - General Surgery Team

Ministry Health Care is a network of hospitals, clinics, and other health related organizations operating across the central, northern, and northeastern regions of Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.

Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston, just minutes from Wausau on Highway 29, provides a broad range of primary and specialty healthcare services. It is a surgical center for the Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care Heart Care Team and other nationally recognized programs. Within our Surgical Services area alone, we have approximately 25 providers.

As a Registered Nurse on our General Surgery Team, you will be working with a wide variety of procedures, including:

• GYN
• General Surgery
• Gastro-Intestinal (includes ERCP and EUS procedures)
• Plastics Surgery
• Oral/Maxillo-Facial
• Wound Care
• Pulmonary

As you will be on a team of five (5) Registered Nurses supporting General Surgery, on-call requirements will be every fifth (5th) weekend and one (1) day during the week.

Minimum Education Required

Graduate of an approved school of nursing is required.

Minimum Related Years of Experience ( per minimum education ) Required:

One (1) year of nursing experience is required.

Experience as a Registered Nurse in a Surgical Services environment is strongly preferred.

Credential/Licensure Required

Current WI RN license is required.

BLS is required, ACLS and PALS are preferred
