User Experience Developer

Minerva enables service providers to offer an engaging television experience to their subscribers, across any network, on any device and at any time. Every day more than three hundred operators around the world deliver advanced television services powered by our software platform.

We are looking for a versatile software engineer who can work closely with the CTO to design, create, prototype innovative Use cases centered on converged entertainment and smart home. The environment is fast-paced, technically demanding, and extremely rewarding.

* Participate in the definition of innovative Use Cases * Build appropriate prototypes (high and low fidelity) * Work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment * Identify and communicate project risks and issues * Research and identify the best technology to accomplish the objective * Provide regular and accurate progress updates on deliverables * Communicate issues that need to be driven to closure appropriately to cross-functional teams * Have a “whatever-it-takes” attitude towards meeting deadlines * Do all of the above with a sense of humor, perspective, and balance

* Highly organized and efficient with time * Code like a developer, think like a designer * Attention to detail for pixel perfection * Passionate about cutting-edge user experiences across a variety of devices * Great written and communication skills * Strong analytical and problem solving skills **Technical Skills** * Expert knowledge in Android * Expert knowledge in HTML/CSS/JS * Expert knowledge in entertainment applications tailored at TV screen and mobile devices * Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator * Proficient in PHP and/or server side Java, node.js **Requirements** * 4+ years’ work experience in the field is required * Online portfolio or list of URLs of previous work * ·Design background is a plus **Education** * BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
