Summary
The MileOne Marketing department is expanding our team and we are hiring an experienced Copywriter. Join a team moving in the right direction! The Copywriter works within the brand’s marketing departments, specifically with the creative team to create compelling external communications across all forms of media (traditional and digital) geared toward inspiring and engaging our customers and prospects. He/she collaborates with a cross-functional group of partners to evolve MileOne’s marketing in accordance with company priorities and goals.
Responsibilities
* Wants to play an integral role as part of an up-start, highly creative in-house team. * Craft compelling themes and copy to drive leads across all four Divisions Including New and Used Vehicle Sales and Parts and Service. * Participate in creative brainstorms. * Pitch timely ideas to aid in the creation of a compelling marketing calendar. * Collaborate with Creative Director and Designers to create original communications materials around company priorities. * Keep current on the evolving competitive landscape as well as fresh ideas outside of MileOne’s category and bring inspiration to the team. * Evolve tone in partnership with the marketing team. * Embrace core values of the new branding direction and translate it in to actionable and “best in class” creative.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in English or related field * 3+ years' experience of creative writing for an agency or internal client advertising department (retail experience preferred) * Wants to change the face and perception of automotive advertising * Experience writing creative advertising for TV, radio, print, outdoor, brochures, digital channels and more * Passion for innovating processes and platforms and exploring new avenues for branded advertising * Strong interest in automotive category * Strong interest in doing “it” better…always * Attention to detail * Ability to write for a diversity of audiences (high end luxury and mid-level vehicles) with different tastes and interests * Demonstrably sophisticated and adaptable understanding of voice and tone * Excellent interpersonal skills * Knowledge of Photoshop and video editing tools a plus
