About MeYou Health
Hi! MeYou Health is a social well-being company that creates web & mobile products to help you improve your well-being through daily small actions.
Responsibilities
MeYou Health is looking for an information designer to join our design team. This is an opportunity to inform and engage MeYou Health's customers, which include large employers and health plans. You will make web applications that customers use daily to better understand the well-being of their population. While collaborating with writers, engineers, and other designers, you will infuse software product design into data reporting. You will visualize the activity in all MeYou Health products to our customers and internal product teams through printed media and live systems, all while working with cutting-edge web technologies. Your duties will involve: exploring and finding ways to present quantitative data in compelling and insightful ways; rapidly prototyping through artifacts to bring ideas to life; facilitating rough consensus among team members; soliciting and using constructive feedback; and designing and preparing assets for production. **About you** - You are motivated by organizing, editing, and visualizing data to inform, delight, and explain. - You care about typography and detail and obsess over visual hierarchy. You recommend Tufte as mandatory reading to other designers and you’re delighted by Feltron’s annual reports. - You have a strong foundation in print and still love it, but you’re excited about learning and leveraging the dynamic capabilities of the web. - You are comfortable working independently, as part of a larger team, and within the time constraints of a weekly sprint cycle. - You enjoy explaining the process and thinking behind your work to others. - You are excited about making well-being products fun and accessible to everyone.
