Designer - Parents Network Marketing

Meredith Parents Network seeks an independent, energetic designer to join our marketing creative team, supporting multiple magazine titles. Designer will work closely with the Creative Director and Art Team to develop innovative sales tools, produce creative advertiser promotions, design looks for signature events, and elevate the overall brand signature. Candidates must be organized and detail-focused, have a strong sense of typography and layout, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be a strategic and conceptual thinker, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and have experience in publication design and production.

The Designer’s responsibilities include developing advertorials, brochures, presentations, dimensional mailings and comps, web pages and eblasts, event signage and sampling literature, brand identity, sellsheets, and other business collateral.

* Min. 3 years professional design experience, preferably in marketing or publishing * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop and Acrobat) and PowerPoint; Knowledge of DreamWeaver * Keen attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines * Experience with prepress * Experience with web and digital design is a plus
