• Measure quality of claims handling on each claim file according to published claim handling guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive claim file reviews and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.
• Effectively plan, design and execute audits with minimal supervision.
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
• Diagnose and analyze audit results to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, and fraud.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with state and national standards and legislation.
• Assist in the ongoing design and modification of the claims quality review program by helping to create and update all claims review forms to be used in the QA program.

• The candidate must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate quality assurance findings in a positive and constructive manner.
• Must have a strong and proven knowledge of claim department processing procedures and techniques.
