* Measure quality of claims handling on each claim file according to published claim handling guidelines. * Conduct comprehensive claim file reviews and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements. * Effectively plan, design and execute audits with minimal supervision. * Prepare detailed reports on audit findings. * Diagnose and analyze audit results to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, and fraud. * Ensure ongoing compliance with state and national standards and legislation. * Assist in the ongoing design and modification of the claims quality review program by helping to create and update all claims review forms to be used in the QA program.

* The candidate must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Ability to clearly and effectively communicate quality assurance findings in a positive and constructive manner. * Must have a strong and proven knowledge of claim department processing procedures and techniques. * Solid teamwork skills * Ability to work well under pressure and independently. * Develops effective working relationships across organizational lines. * Able to meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities effectively. * Demonstrated insurance and systems knowledge across functional areas. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Sound organizational and planning skills. * Expertise in using Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
