Overnight Registered Nurse - Acute Care

The Healthcare Resorts are a new brand of next generation medical resorts under construction in Texas, Kansas and Colorado. The Healthcare Resorts will be senior communities that provide skilled nursing and rehabilitation care and assisted living services in resort-style accommodations. This new organization will be dedicated to providing the highest quality care and hospitality experience to its guests.

* Assesses, plans, and implements the highest quality nursing care * Coordinate patient care, monitors changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents observations, courses of treatment and patient response * Assists the Director of Nursing Services (Chief Nursing Officer) in planning and developing nursing services to be performed and performs administrative duties such as completing evaluations and charting. * Expected to assist in meeting every need of the guests during their stay in a manner that exudes personal and high-touch care. * Work on Point Click Care software

* Ideal candidates for this role have been in a post-acute or long-term care facility * Very fast paced, 1 nurse could be responsible for up to 15 residents at any given time. * They said they haven't had any success with nurses that come from home health and hospice * Strong acute clinical skills, good customer service and accountability are some of the main things they look for in candidates. Newer graduates are not ideal as they typically need more attention and training. * IV certified nurses are preferred. KS licensed.
