Summary
The Marketing Specialist is a product marketing professional responsible for product marketing activities in support of new and existing products. This position will execute a product launch process across all relevant groups; create and execute marketing plans for multiple products; oversee product messaging, collateral development and go-to-market activities.
Responsibilities
**Product marketing** * Development and execution of marketing plans, incorporating multiple products – both existing and new introductions, with particular focus on new product launches * Execution of the product launch process & coordination of plans/activities across all relevant constituents, including product management, sales, marketing, services & support, legal, regulatory, etc. * In concert with other marketing team members, develop value proposition, positioning and messaging that differentiates our solutions in the market * Direct development of external-facing materials to support the dissemination of value propositions, positioning, and messaging * Develop a PR strategy, social media and thought leadership approach for your assigned product areas * Perform target market analysis, including segmentation and size, penetration/market share of legacy and current generation products * Direct marketing strategy for Federal market (Department of Defense and Defense Health Agency) **Go-to-market enablement** * Communicate the marketing strategy and plans to sales, account management, and business advisors * Direct the development of go-to-market tools that support the selling process of our solutions * Partner with sales and account management on account-based marketing efforts * Plan and execute the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan * Help develop the strategy and marketing plans, and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for products across multiple channels (e.g., digital communications, collateral, events, RelayHealth community portal) **Marketing support** * Assist with content strategy and ongoing management for the RelayHealth.com website * Manage marketing automation for campaigns across RelayHealth for tracking of lead generation activity * Project manage multiple integrated marketing programs and campaigns, assisting product marketing leads in execution, effectiveness and brand compliance * Collaborate with RelayHealth’s Customer Empowerment team to design compelling content and produce effective materials that resonate with customers and tie to our marketing and brand strategy * Coordinate event strategy (along with an event planner) * Manage speakers bureau, including speaking engagement calendar, submission tracker and submission library
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Requirements** * 5+ years experience in marketing **Critical Skills** * 4 years post-undergraduate work experience in product marketing, marketing communications, and/or digital marketing * Experience driving and leading marketing efforts for large-scale B2B technical initiatives * Proven experience derived from developing and executing successful product launches that delivered significant sales results * Extensive knowledge of the healthcare IT market preferred (working with healthcare IT sales organizations and selling healthcare products to C-Suite executives) * Proven record and experience utilizing classic and innovative marketing practices and techniques * Experience with electronic, digital and traditional marketing communication platforms * Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines, while leading/aligning multiple stakeholders * Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Pardot) is a major plus * Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and hit deadlines * Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills * Strong presentation / presentation writing skills * Excellent communication skills * Microsoft Office proficiency * <25% travel required **Additional Knowledge & Skills** * Thorough knowledge of company products, company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures; excellent communication skills **Education** * 4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience **Physical Requirements** * General Office Demands
