Robot DevOps Engineer

Mayfield Robotics is the startup behind Kuri, the adorable home robot that won a pile of awards at CES 2017 and that also pinkie-swears not to take over the world and eradicate humanity. We're growing and looking for people to come help us make Kuri even more adorable and awesome.

Mayfield Robotics is creating an adorable robot for the home. Our team, based in Palo Alto (soon to be Redwood City), CA is looking for a Robot DevOps Engineer who is excited to help us develop and improve our development process.

As part of our team, you will be the person we look to for recommendations on how to build up the rest of our software stack. You will also be responsible for maintaining our current continuous integration and build pipelines, as well as developing new pipelines, scripts, and frameworks for continuous integration, build (of both software and robots), test (of software, low-level hardware components, and high-level robot functionality), and deployment. Additionally, you will need to provide occasional sysadmin help, including debugging and maintaining our network infrastructure (for both humans and robots).

**Requirements:** * Experience with Linux shell scripting * C/C++ and Python familiarity * Linux PC and embedded Linux software development * ARM processors * Experience with Travis, Jenkins, or some other CI system * Familiarity with Ansible, Chef or Puppet etc. * Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS) * Networking experience (subnets, routing, VPN) * BS degree or equivalent experience * At least 3 years of of real-world experience **Nice to Have, but not required:** * Experience with ROS
