Outside Packaged Gas Sales Representative-IGG

In 1927 MATHESON Gas Products became the first company to offer a reliable source of high quality scientific gases and equipment. From the start, MATHESON asserted its leadership by understanding specialty gas applications and providing products specially designed for these applications.

Responsible for all aspects of sales of industrial, medical and specialty cylinders, hardgoods, small bulk gas sales to include liquid and tube trailer oxygen, nitrogen, argon, tube trailer hydrogen, liquid carbon dioxide, related distribution and application equipment.

* Maintain high level of personal safety performance and regulatory compliance. * Drive profitable growth of the territory business. * Prospect for new business opportunities * Negotiate new account and existing account contract/purchase order renewals. * Manage existing business portfolio to maximize gross profit to include price improvements. * Provide first line product and application support to customers and prospects. * Coordinate and manage communication and support between Customer and MTG. * Report sales activity timely to sales management. * Identify large bulk gas opportunities and hand-off to bulk gas counterpart. * Perform site surveys for new installations. * Support collections process as required. * Report sales activities in required format and per schedule determined by Region Management

**Required Skills** * Computer skills include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Outlook. **Required Experience** * BS Engineering (Welding, Mechanical or Chemical preferred) or Business Administration. * Conceptual understanding of industrial gas products. * Production, distribution, equipment and applications. * At least three years of industrial gases sales/operations or a minimum of five Years or more industrial sales experience.
