Maintenance Technician NJV

Maintains a safe environment for plant personnel. Keeps all areas of the plant where maintenance is in progress clean and orderly to aid in the prevention of accidents. Follows lockout/tagout, confined spaces, hot work permits and related safety policies. Performs all other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Lead.

• Keeps maintenance areas clean and orderly, follows all company procedures and safety policies.
• Maintains a safe environment for plant personnel.

• Maintains maintenance equipment and tools in safe working order.
• Follows lockout/tagout, confined spaces, hot work permits and related safety policies. PRODUCTION
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintains all plant equipment in good working condition.
• Performs equipment inspecitions and preventative maintenance (PM) activities.
• Works with other employees/contractors to complete assigned tasks.
• Performs all other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Lead. QUALITY
• Adhers to all quality assurance policies and standards.

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• PLC and relay logic troubleshooting skills required
• High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to perform mathematical exercises of moderate complexity
• Must display a mechanical/electrical aptitude Must be computer literate utilizing Microsoft software
• Must be able to work various shifts and overtime as needed
