Maintenance Technician NJV

Maintains a safe environment for plant personnel. Keeps all areas of the plant where maintenance is in progress clean and orderly to aid in the prevention of accidents. Follows lockout/tagout, confined spaces, hot work permits and related safety policies. Performs all other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Lead.

SAFETY * Keeps maintenance areas clean and orderly, follows all company procedures and safety policies. * Maintains a safe environment for plant personnel. * Keeps all areas of the plant where maintenance is in progress clean and orderly to aid in the prevention of accidents. * Maintains maintenance equipment and tools in safe working order. * Follows lockout/tagout, confined spaces, hot work permits and related safety policies. PRODUCTION * Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintains all plant equipment in good working condition. * Performs equipment inspecitions and preventative maintenance (PM) activities. * Works with other employees/contractors to complete assigned tasks. * Performs all other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Lead. QUALITY * Adhers to all quality assurance policies and standards.

* At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience * PLC and relay logic troubleshooting skills required * High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to perform mathematical exercises of moderate complexity * Must display a mechanical/electrical aptitude Must be computer literate utilizing Microsoft software * Must be able to work various shifts and overtime as needed
