Logistics Planner

In 1927 MATHESON Gas Products became the first company to offer a reliable source of high quality scientific gases and equipment. From the start, MATHESON asserted its leadership by understanding specialty gas applications and providing products specially designed for these applications.

The selected candidate will report to the Planning Supervisor. He/She will be responsible for scheduling truckload deliveries of liquid nitrogen, oxygen and argon in the most efficient and cost effective manner, while ensuring the highest level of safety and Customer service.

* Determine Customer delivery requirements * Record tank readings * Ensure forecast accuracy * Assess Driver/equipment availability * Deconflict scheduling issues, communicate with Drivers, Terminal Managers, Plant Operators, Sales staff * Review daily plant inventory and production rates to determine product availability

* The selected candidate must be able to work well both independently and as part of a group in a fast-paced environment. * He/She must possess excellent communication and analytical skills as well as be computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook * He/She must be able to work weekends, holidays and work a rotating 5-2 schedule. * A college degree, previous call center and logistics experience in a related field are preferred, but not required
