Orange County California independent insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Customer Service Rep (CSR) to handle a book of small-to-middle market clients.
The position requires a candidate with the following skills and attributes:
- Minimum 2-3 years recent work experience servicing a commercial casualty book of business
- Working experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working experience with AMS360 and FSC Rater preferred
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish (written and oral), strongly preferred
- Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and work within deadlines
- Independently manage $350k revenue book of commercial business
- Represent the agency in a professional and businesslike manner both in the office and on client appointments
- California Property/Casualty Insurance License
- Working experience with Mercury Insurance, Allied and Hartford preferred.
- Working experience with Surplus Lines Markets and Wholesalers on commercial business
- College degree or some college education preferred
Additional Notes on Compensation
Agency is a family owned firm in business for 35 years. Offers medical insurance for the employee. Pays for continuing education and Department of Insurance Licensing fees. Offers vacation and sick time benefits -- 15 days one year of employment.
