Summary
The Manager of Analytics develops and oversees department strategy and tactical management of managing capacity workforce systemically and efficiently based on current work order forecasts & trends. Partners with internal and external customers to optimize and maximize resource utilization. Provides supportive, informational, and actionable analyses for business operations.
Responsibilities
* Acquire, understand and analyze data about business problems, transforming data into information. * Deliver polished, complete analysis to multiple organizational levels. * Assist in designing products in order to rapidly deliver important information directly to the individuals who need it. * Design and create reporting tools or analysis both on an ad hoc and an ongoing basis. * Perform ongoing maintenance including QA on existing tools and reports. * Create and maintain report and project documentation. * Assists in determining geographic hiring locations based on market trends. * Create detailed action plans and documents for current and future tasks. * Create and document territorial mapping adjustments based on business needs. * Oversees the provisioning of all technician workforce in current applications to ensure accuracy. * Coordinates communication between the Resource Management department and the Operations and Dispatch organizations. * Determines best methods for analysis of schedule distribution. * Participates in audit maintenance of payroll and incentive plans to capacity systems. * Presents impact summaries to executive leadership (daily, monthly, quarterly reporting) * Perform other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Expert knowledge of MS Excel, basic knowledge of MSSQL * Expert analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and develop new solutions * Solid knowledge of statistics and data presentation methodology * Solid ability to organize job functions, multi-task, work flexibly and independently, and be detail-oriented * Solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with high level leaders in the organization to facilitate accurate business decisions with qualitative analysis * Solid ability to provide excellent customer service and establish and maintain credibility and interpersonal relationships with diverse group of individuals (e.g., business leaders, colleagues, staff at all levels) **Education** * Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Extensive applicable experience may be used in * lieu of education. **Experience** * Minimum of 6 years business experience required. * Previous experience in data analysis, capacity planning, consolidation, and interpretation preferred.
