This is a Contract position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

* Hands-on in setting up and monitoring Cassandra cluster. * Database Administration in SQL Server or Oracle * Apache Cassandra database administration on a multi-datacenter cluster

- Education - BS in CS or relevant experience in Cloud/AWS. - 8+ years of Database Administration experience SQL Server or Oracle. - 2+ years Apache Cassandra database administration on a multi-datacenter cluster. - In depth knowledge of architecting and creating Cassandra/no SQL database systems. - Must have hands-on experience in setting up Cassandra cluster - Must have experience in monitoring and managing Cassandra cluster. - Experience and knowledge for AWS Cloud/RDS and OPENSTACK is a must. - Experience and knowledge ETL & Bulk Data Import/Export. - Data Migration experience between Cassandra and RDBMS (MS SQL Server/Oracle). - Linux shell scripting. - Python.
