Studios: Associate Producer, Branded Content

Mashable is seeking a creative Associate Producer, Branded Content, to join our newest division, Mashable Studios. Launched this summer, Studios focuses on original video programing and series for our brand partners. The Associate Producer will work with a production team in the execution of creative concepts on budget, schedule and scope. This position is located at the Mashable HQ in NYC.

Assist Producer, Branded Content in day to day operations of Mashable Studios by: * Help concept great video stories for brand partners and for original series. * Execute assigned branded content or internal productions from conception to completion. * Plan shoot logistics including shots lists, questionnaires and locations. * Assist in all aspects of production issues (legal, talent, insurance, technical, union/guild issues, child labor laws, contracting, background checks, etc.) * Help Develop and Manage production budgets and timelines. * Provide video ideas and production budget guidance during RFP/Pitch phase. * Provide best in class client service to internal colleagues, ad agency and brand partners. * Manage and work closely with internal staff team and 3rd party production companies including contracting new vendors. * Help track and record the financials for both internal and external productions. * Manage Studios video uploads and embeds. * Help monitor compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations as designated by the team.

* 1-2 years of related line producing, video production experience * Shooting/Editing experience is a bonus (though not required) * Understanding of video production techniques & equipment * Knowledge of video codecs and interest in new video storytelling formats * Strong attention to detail with a high level of organization and efficient in time management * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment * Positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in * Bachelor's Degree
