Summary
Mashable is adding another key position to its growing sales & operations team. Mashable is now seeking a smart, self-motivated and resourceful individual to join our team as a Campaign Specialist. The Campaign Specialist will work closely with individual sales team members to drive ad campaign execution from start to finish, ensuring that sold ad campaigns are processed, trafficked and reconciled in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities
* Working with the Yield Team to review insertion orders and communication to ensure accurate booking * Working with the Account Management Team to ensure a smooth transition of pre-sale responsibilities to the post-sales group upon receiving insertion orders, includes soliciting creative from agencies/clients per established specs * Testing of all ad creative for compliance with site specifications as well as functionality * Provide technical QA support on custom programs and executions * Trafficking ad creative in DFP; managing various technical implementations and testing for ad products and custom builds * Monitoring reporting discrepancies through checking third party ad servers * Partnering with Account Management Team and Yield Team to troubleshoot delivery issues and optimize campaign performance based on client goals * Working closely with the Billing Team to ensure that pre-invoices match accurate during billing reconciliation * Collaborating with the Rev Ops team on special projects to help streamline process and improve the current systems in place, such as vetting vendors for ad creation * Generating and reviewing weekly advertiser campaign reports to track performance against guarantee * Entering and managing insertion orders within internal sales operations systems
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS degree with a strong academic record * Desire to establish and improve internal processes to improve efficiency * Outstanding communication skills – both written and spoken * Experience working in fast-paced environments with regularly shifting priorities * Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail * Knowledge of Digital media ad technologies (HTML, Flash, etc.) * Previous experience in a client services business (agency, consulting, etc.) * 1-2 years Advertising operations experience * Experience with DFP, Fivia, Salesforce
