Development Data Team Lead

- You will be creating and leading a medium sized, focused team, supporting the data needs of our UI Development team across a variety of clients - You have proven success in establishing and growing high performance teams focused on delivering high quality software on time and on budget - You have a solid understanding of web development and an in-depth understanding of API development and best practices - You fully believe in documentation and building exactly to spec - You understand how to build reusable components that have the flexibility to meet multiple clients’ needs - Engineer and maintain high traffic, highly visibility APIs for the world’s largest financial firms and media outlets. (We received 5 billion hits last month). - Gain exposure to the stock market and other financial data, while developing APIs that deliver dynamic information from a variety of sources. - Use proprietary technologies and standard best practices to build and deliver high performance APIs.

- Demonstrated group and project lead experience - Comprehensive and innovative people management skills - Comprehensive understanding of API definition, development and documentation - Experience utilizing node.js, npm, TeamCity and other related technologies - Ability to develop, test and maintain full-scale APIs with node.js - Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills - Demonstrated ability to work and learn independently or as part of a team - Ability to lead team members during the full life cycle of client projects, mentor new employees and head training
