ASP.NET Developer

Markit is a leading global provider of financial information services. We provide products that enhance transparency, reduce risk and improve operational efficiency. In this position, you will work as a development team member to design and develop hosted web services for our clients. You will be responsible for integrating content and implementing functionality based on requirements specifications and wire-frames. In your role, you will contribute to task identification work estimates, and schedules for development activities as well as resolving technical issues as assigned, supporting deployment through Quality Awareness Process and to Production. The ideal candidate will thrive in a structured environment that has a variety of short-term deliverables.

Business Competencies

• 3+ years of experience in the following

• C#

• ASP.NET

• WCF

• HTML/JavaScript/JQuery

• Experience building/creating high performance user interfaces

• Experience with Kdb a plus

• Experience with XSLT a plus

• Familiarity with development processes and best practices

• Familiarity/experience with the financial services industry preferred
