Marathon TS is an SBA Certified HUBZone / Woman Owned Small Business IT Service provider to government clients to support enterprise mission objectives.

The Candidate shall provide Oracle database engineering and administration support to the FEMA Integrated Test Environment (ITE) and Independent Validation and Verification environments.

- Evaluation of Oracle database server hardware; installation of Oracle database software; Oracle database planning; Online Transaction Processing (OLTP). - Data Warehousing and Online Data Store databases; Oracle database creation and opening; Oracle database backup; system user enrollment; implementation of Oracle database design; Oracle database tuning. - Installation of Oracle database patches to include quarterly Critical Patch Updates (CPUs) as well as Oracle Interim Patches (opatches) rolling out the database to additional hosts; System Global Area (SGA) management.

- Deployment and maintenance of Oracle Streams, as well as third party replication applications that run in the FEMA database environment such as Quest SharePlex data replications tools. - Oracle advanced replication maintenance; unit testing, load testing; user acceptance testing; maintaining the security of the database; and ensuring that the database, ASM, and CRS conform to DHS security guidelines.
