Production Line Supervisor

**The position requires an employee be able to perform the essential functions of the job including, but not limited to, the following duties:** * Providing direct supervision and motivation to employees. * Overseeing the quality production of his or her line's scheduled product run. * Drive process improvement via improving employee practices and project management. * Analyze and use data to create process improvement projects Promote safe work practices and environments for all team members. * Ensure employees are adhering to the company’s safety and GMP standards * Tracking his or her line’s key indicators such as quality defects, process discrepancies, downtime, and efficiency. * Administration duties such as employee performance, attendance and vacation scheduling. * Leading team members in weekly team performance meetings. * Holding team members accountable to meet expectations. *Instructing and lead employees in the use of IPM (Integrated Process Management) in their daily work * May assist and contribute to production on an as-needed basis.

**The position requires that an employee be capable of the following:** * 4-year post secondary program is preferred. * AIB training or related industry training is a plus. * Ability to work assigned hours, off-shifts, and overtime (including most Saturday's). * Computer proficiency and the ability to make arithmetic calculations, complete routine reports and forms, and the ability to understand and follow directions as given are also necessary * Good verbal and interpersonal skills are essential. * Must work closely with others in a team atmosphere. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently. * Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, pull, push, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout the assigned eight hour shift. * Must be able to read, write and understand instructions, warnings, labels and postings in English effectively. * OSHA required safety training * IPM Training * GMP Awareness * Other topical training as determined by the company
