Summary
Adapting laboratory networks and systems to support the SECs mission, maintaining laboratory security posture and documentation, and sustaining an operational laboratory in accordance with the standards, policies, and best business practices established by the Department of Defense (DoD), US Army, and SEC.
Responsibilities
* 10 Years - Working on computer systems engineering and/or software development; * Capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program control, and technical personnel involved in providing services in fulfillment of the contract; * Have a thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle of the software in military systems; Knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of software and computer resources for Army systems; * Managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort; * Providing direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures. Providing recommendations for resolution of technical problems. * The Program Manager must at all times be a role model to subordinate employees, be a workforce motivator, and be a provider of constructive criticism.
Ideal Candidate
* Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and twelve to fifteen years of related (technical environment) experience including management experience. **Additional Qualifications** * Army Acquisition Corps Level 2 certification in logistics, program management or information technology is highly desired OR recognized industry equivalent professional certification. (PMP or DAWIA II) * Must have ten years’ experience leading major or similar efforts. * Meets DoD 8570.1M IAT Level II Certification. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Proficient in Microsoft Project * Experienced in OCONUS travel policies/procedures (JTR) * Experience using SPOT * Excellent communication and writing skills * Knowledge of Privia, GovWin, and MCMS * Knowledge of CHESS processing * Experienced using SharePoint/ContstantView * Experienced using PeopleSoft Expenses/ADTRAV (ePro/sPro * Bachelor's Degree & 10+ years of experience (no substitution for education)
