ManTech is looking for a motivated, customer-oriented Telecommunications Analyst in support of a telecommunication systems.
Responsibilities
* This position will be a team lead and voice and video SME in charge of 3 telecomm analysts supporting multiple Cisco-based voice and video infrastructures. * This individual will be responsible for solving the toughest operational voice and video challenges, diagnosing and resolving issues with vendor-specific multi-level video teleconferencing systems, ensuring Moves/Adds/Changes occur according to the specified SLAs, and providing weekly and monthly reports that clearly articulate team performance. * As the voice and video SME, this position will also interface directly with the Information Assurance team to ensure all applicable requirements are satisfied, POA&Ms tracked and met, and system certifications maintained. Responsibilities include: * Plans, evaluates, and/or coordinates the installation of local and/or remote data and voice communications equipment such as terminals, modems, video conferencing units, concentrators, minicomputers, central processing units, facsimiles, and pagers. * Designs entire networks or portions of networks that include selection of hardware and software packages. * Oversees voice network reconfiguration and billing reconciliation’s. * Ensures that all software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed. * Company expert in the development of standards for carrier service and equipment. Ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions. * Provides regulatory monitoring and voice network analysis regarding short and long range planning for in-house systems.
Ideal Candidate
* Qualifications: Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience. * Additional Qualifications: Must be DoD 8570 IAT Leve 2 compliant Cisco CCNP Voice or equivalent * Degrees: Bachelor's Degree Equivalent Experience/Education * Years of Experience: 04-06 years w/Masters Degree 07-09 years w/Bachelors Degree 13-15 years w/High School Diploma Requirements: * Requires Cisco CCNP Voice or equivalent certification * Requires Security+ or equivalent certification to meet DoD 8570.1M requirements for IAT Level II * Requires up to date experience with Cisco VTC codes, Cisco VoIP end points, Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) version 9 or later, Cisco Tandberg Management Server, and experience with SolarWinds Voice/Video QoS product.
