Tableau Developer

The individual will work with business process experts (BPEs) to design Tableau solutions aligned with Analytics Strategy, Roadmap, and Architecture standards.

* Work closely with BPEs to gather business requirements and develop interactive data visualizations * Develop automated process for updating data content used in standardized dashboards * Manage assigned activities within time, cost, and technical objectives * Serve as subject matter expert on tool and best practices for other Tableau users * Conduct Tableau training sessions for power users

* Must have expert technical knowledge of the Tableau Platform to design and develop dashboards * Must have experience with database design, development, and usage with relational and multi-dimensional databases including SQL, MS Access, SAP BW * Adept at gathering and manipulating data from various sources * Understanding of data visualization best practices * Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly interpret data * Strong interpersonal and communications skills; quick learner * Results oriented; ability to work independently with minimal guidance * Strong written communication skills * A problem solver * Ability to build productive relationships with business process experts at all levels of the organization * Self-directed, with the ability to meet deadlines while under pressure * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to seamlessly edit existing training and documentation materials
