Summary
Management and Engineering Technologies International, Inc. (METI) seeks one career level Database Administrator to provide support in Fort Huachuca, AZ on the ARCYBER contract. The intent of this contract is to provide Defensive Cyber Operations and Intelligence Support services to Cyberspace Operations in support of US Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), including dispersed Defensive Cyber Operations Divisions (DCODs); Army Computer Emergency Response Team (ACERT); and Intelligence Support. The contractor will be required to support the ACERT and DCODs and provide Intelligence Support to ARCYBER. The ACERT conducts and synchronizes operations across the Computer Network Operations (CNO) spectrum in support of the Army to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the information and information systems used by Commanders worldwide. DCODs provide services for the protection, monitoring, analysis, detection and response to unauthorized activity within the Department of Defense Information Systems and Networks. Computer Network Defense (CND) services are required to defend against unauthorized activity on the supported networks. This includes activities from simple external hackers who may attempt to gain unauthorized access, insider threat attempts for unauthorized access, and policy violations that may impact network security and operations, and more. The contractor shall provide intelligence support to cyberspace operations, including contingency operations and exercises, to include research, evaluation analysis, integration, and interpretation of information from multiple intelligence and operational sources, and fuse the information into finished intelligence products for anticipated or unspecified intelligence production requirements. The contractor shall develop reports and products, both current and long-term, in support of Planning Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield and course of action development.
Responsibilities
* Under general direction, implements, monitors, and reorganizes databases, codes, tests, implements, and maintains database architectures. * Executes utility requirements such as reorganization, back¬up and recovery. * Analyzes and resolves database system production problems. * Analyzes user requirements and statistics, and participates in database design and performance evaluation reviews. * Advises systems engineers on database coding issues. * Prepares system documentation. * May be involved in the data modeling process.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. * Must have Top Secret SCI security clearance. * Minimum 2 years of information technology experience. * DoD 8570.01 certifications, One IAT Level II (GSEC, Security +CE, SSCP or CCNA) and one of the CNDSP (SSCP or CEH). Candidates with only one of the two certifications must obtain the second certification within 30 calendar days after start date.
