Responsibilities
- As a Designer at Malwarebytes you’ll be a member of a small, interdisciplinary marketing team that works at quick pace. - You’ll work with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Developers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to turn your ideas into unicorns and rainbows and mermaids - You’ll be a brand shepherd—instilling and ensuring quality and consistency across everything the Malwarebytes brand touches. - You’ll design product logos and brand guides, and create advertising campaigns, website and in-product experiences, trade show booth materials, and the occasional concert poster. - You’ll be a thought leader and demonstrate how design can fundamentally change consumer behavior. - You’ll be an advocate for the consumer and a catalyst for good.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong portfolio - Hands on and detail oriented - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 5+ years of experience in brand marketing / advertising - An Adobe Creative Suite juggernaut who dabbles in PowerPoint and Keynote - Can work independently and in collaborative team environments - Capacity to think big and apply that to the wide range of opportunities, from product logos and campaign ideas to full-on, long-standing platforms Bravery...and the ability to see new design opportunities for the brand Experience developing strategically-grounded creative applied to all fronts: online, offline, and all the weird places in between - Must be willing to work on the “less sexy” stuff, because...that’s just being real - Must be comfortable accepting feedback and addressing the needs of the team - Ability to lead a project from concept to completion **Bonus:** - You want to work at a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. **Double Bonus:** - You have a solid understanding of user interface and user experience design for complex, enterprise applications. **Triple Bonus:** - You believe that truly exceptional design is all about the details.
