Responsibilities
Play a key role in developing the web services infrastructure that powers our 3D printing platform. Scale, optimize, and refactor existing web services as well as developing new ones. Work with multiple products and teams including desktop, mobile, web, firmware, and 3rd party developers to enable their applications. Passionate about web software development. You have side projects that you are proud of and want to share. You’ll definitely need some code you’ve written on GitHub for us to check out. Someone who really cares about writing optimized code. You should be annoyed when something isn’t working quite right and enjoy debugging and refactoring code to make it the best. An agile developer who can take a problem and break it down into smaller tasks. You can work with other teams to architect new solutions and work with other web developers to get things done.
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years of developing REST APIs and Apps that use them Scripting Languages: node.js, PHP, Ruby, Python Databases: mysql, memcache, redis Infrastructure: AWS, Docker * Extra experience counts too! * 3D printing experience (you’ll be surrounded by rows and rows of 3D printers all day that you can make stuff on all the time), or just love Making Things and sharing them.
