Analytics Manager

Zimride re-incorporated as Lyft, Inc. in May, 2012. (Zimride founded in 2007 and later changed name to Lyft, Inc.). Some Assets of Zimride was sold to Enterprise Holdings (St. Louis) on July 10, 2013. Lyft is a peer-to-peer transportation platform that connects passengers who need rides with drivers willing to provide rides using their own personal vehicles.

Analytics is a specialized, centralized, and cross functional team that collaborates with product / engineering, growth, operations, and marketing to drive decision-making at Lyft. The team leads ambitious projects, interacts regularly with our executive team, and develops key strategic frameworks for all business areas. As a leader on the team, you’ll be responsible for building and promoting the analytic frameworks Lyft uses to make decisions. You’ll be leading analysts but also managing relationships and expectations from operational teams in the company.. The ideal candidate is technically ­minded, business savvy, and exceptionally driven. * Help build, lead, and manage a world­ class team of data analysts * Provide technical guidance on technical models and analyses produced by the team * Collaborate and develop relationships with cross functional business teams at HQ and local teams in other cities * Structure and present analyses to executives and other key stakeholders * Develop analytical frameworks, roadmaps, and metrics for the team and broader organization * Serve as a champion of sound decision-making at all levels of the company

* 6+ years experience in an analytics role or equivalent; management experience preferred * B.S. in economics, applied math, statistics or other quantitative field; M.S preferred * Strong SQL and Excel skills * Proficient in at least one scripting language * Strong oral and written communication skills; extremely attentive to detail * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
