Currently, Luck Companies is looking to hire a Paralegal / Coordinator to support its Real Estate Division.
The position will be responsible for:
* 60% of Job: Checks and examines documents pertaining to many areas of real estate, such as title searches, title commitments and surveys, zoning, leases, acquisitions, sales, development, and subdivision ordinances, regulations, and/or procedures. Prepares legal documents, such as zoning applications, contracts, and buy-sell agreements,. Drafts letters, objections, leases, and responses to tenants, buyers, governmental officials. Prepares property binders and keeps file and lease tracking of all properties.
* 20% of Job: Bookkeeping and minor accounting responsibilities, to include bill-paying, managing and recording cash receipts, reconciling general ledgers and recording adjusting journal entries, real estate tax payment tracking, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial updates/ reports.
* 20% of job: Office support responsibilities, to include filing, meeting and conference set-up, upkeep of property binders, and providing support for office projects as needed.
