Researcher - Writer - Thinker

Founded in 1994, LRN is the premier provider of legal, compliance and ethical awareness and education solutions for Fortune 500 companies including, Dow Chemical, DuPont, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, e-Bay. LRN is a profitable, privately held company headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

This role will ask you to use your research, analytical and editorial skills to help LRN speak to a wide range of audiences, ranging from major print and on-line publications to lecture circuits and panels. Working closely with the Founder/CEO, you will help develop thought leadership and expand the company’s philosophy by applying real world examples of leadership behaviors that create sustainable competitive advantage. • Identify and produce content that will be of interest to key constituencies.
• Able to execute in tight timelines and address all feedback & requirements.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines.
• Research and generate ideas and content for current relevant issues in the ethics, governance, culture and leadership
• Contribute to the creation of thought leadership and whitepapers

Skills:

• 2-4 years’ experience as a writer creating published content targeting a broad audience, (experience in writing in the areas of Governance, Culture, Leadership, Ethics is a major plus)
• Exposure and strong interest in philosophy a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in a collaborative, high-pressure environment.
• Strong understanding of media trends including social media
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and extract insights and new content
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in social media
• A balance between creativity, lateral thinking, and analytical rigor
• Experience with Microsoft Operating System (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• High energy, passion and a team player.

Education:

• BA, Advanced degree preferred
