LRN is a profitable, privately held company headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
This role will ask you to use your research, analytical and editorial skills to help LRN speak to a wide range of audiences, ranging from major print and on-line publications to lecture circuits and panels. Working closely with the Founder/CEO, you will help develop thought leadership and expand the company’s philosophy by applying real world examples of leadership behaviors that create sustainable competitive advantage. We believe culture—the sum of the behaviors of the individuals who constitute an organization—defines that organization and drives it toward important business outcomes.
- Identify and produce content that will be of interest to key constituencies.
- Able to execute in tight timelines and address all feedback & requirements.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines.
- Research and generate ideas and content for current relevant issues in the ethics, governance, culture and leadership
- Contribute to the creation of thought leadership and whitepapers
Skills:
- 2-4 years’ experience as a writer creating published content targeting a broad audience, (experience in writing in the areas of Governance, Culture, Leadership, Ethics is a major plus)
- Exposure and strong interest in philosophy a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in a collaborative, high-pressure environment.
- Strong understanding of media trends including social media
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and extract insights and new content
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in social media
- A balance between creativity, lateral thinking, and analytical rigor
- Experience with Microsoft Operating System (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- High energy, passion and a team player.
Education:
- BA, Advanced degree preferred
